Real-Time Chat Application
A high-frequency websocket terminal built to emulate instant packet switching. Powering sub-10ms packet broadcasts across memory clusters with zero lost frames.
Project Overview
The ultimate objective was building an instantly reactive networking terminal. Combining React custom hooks with Node.js WebSocket protocol handlers, we bypass HTTP overhead for true duplex datastreams. Redis pub/sub operates as the backplane event router, letting us scale to thousands of concurrent guest nodes seamlessly.

Challenges & Solutions
# Threat: Buffer Congestion
High-frequency clients broadcasting at excessive speeds can congest socket descriptors, leading to system memory blockages or socket drops.
# Remedy: Redis Backplane
Decoupled system connections via a pub/sub layer. Messages queue and route through asynchronous Redis buffers, maintaining low memory footprints.
